7 Easy-To-Make Coffee Cocktails

There is no good reason why coffee and alcohol shouldn’t mix. And in fact, there isn’t.

It’s a perfect combination of two of your favorite drinks, you just can’t go wrong.

Here are a few popular coffee cocktails for you to try (one at a time… okay, maybe two).

Drink responsibly.

Irish coffee

1 cup hot water

1 cup brewed hot coffee

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 shot of Irish whiskey (about 2 ounces)

Slightly whipped heavy cream

Chocolate flakes, for garnish (optional)

Fill a mug with the hot water and let it sit a minute or two. This will preheat the mug, assuring the drink stays warm.

Pour out the hot water and pour the hot coffee in the mug. Add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved.

Blend in the whiskey.

Top with whipped cream and garnish with the chocolate flakes.

Top with the heavy cream and stir.
